Peugeot 206 (1.4L '52 plate) Rear drum?

How do I remove the rear drum. I have new brake shoes that I want to fit.
Harry J., May 2009
Hi,
Can you tell me the size of the socket used

Peter D, October 2010
John - Got one side off now ! Many thanks for your help.

Harry J, May 2009
No need to Harry, just use the correct socket and bar, and the crimps will bend back themselves. You are supposed to use new nuts when you put it back together, and punch the edge back into the groove when the job is done.

Thanks John - The large nut appears to have a raised front section which looks "crimped" onto the center shaft - Do I need to free this first?

Harry J, May 2009
Take the road wheel off, followed by the small hub cap in the centre of the brake drum. Beneath that you'll find a large nut that unscrews and the drum should pull clear.
