Numerous problems on LG WM5032HW (WM2032)?

You can see all the manuals here: http://136.166.4.200/contents/Laundry/WM2032.htm

(I have the 5032 which is a BestBuy branded 2032)

About a year ago, I put a load of washing in and it started up with no problems. About 10 minutes later I noticed there was no sound coming from it and it was dead to the world.

At this point, I took the washer downstairs (on an appliance dolly) and put an old washer in it's place.

The old washer is now dead so I'd like to get the LG back up and running

I brought the LG back upstairs and went thru the service manual.

Page 21 recommended replacing the Main PWB Assembly since the little red LED was off.

I did that, and now the washer turns on, but it won't turn the drum either during diagnostics or during a load. If I try to put a load of washing in, it fills with water and 5 minutes later gives an LE error.

The manual also recommends changing the stator assembly for 'drum spin' issues but am I right in thinking that since the drum moves freely by hand, then thats not it?

My next move is trying the sensor assembly (6501KW2002A) but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should try... I've already spent about $140 on parts and about 5 hours labour. My other concern is that the machine took a bit of a buffering going up and down the stairs - I looked for loose connections but all seems ok

Any thoughts? Am I on the right path? What is the most logical thing to try next?
