tracey just buy a new unchipped cdi unit from electrex tney have a website,it just plugs into the wiring loom where the old one was after you take it off very very easy to do just pull off a wiring plug and plug it in.ok good luck ps the cdi /immobiliser is behind the panel where the key hole is for the ignition follow the wire that loops around the ignition switch in a ring shape not the ones on the back of it
