My 1994 Geo Prizm Made horrid Squeeching sounds when I attempted to start it- I looked under the hood and it seems a belt is broken on the passenger side of the car and I am looking for photos online of the belts in this area of the car while still in place on the vehicle and what the names of the belts are so that I can identify the broken one and know how to proceed from there as I do not want to have my vehicle towed.

The belt is non existant. So taking it to them is not an option. I am aware that I have to buy the part. What Im seeking, by using the internet is to prevent having someone tell me what they THINK is the problem based on NOT being able to see the vehicle and using a bunch of hand motions and jargon and wasting my time when its probable to remove them from the equation. Which is why I seek labeled photo or diagram depicting what is what. From there I will know what next to do.

why not just take the broken belt to a spare parts shop such as motor world and explain. im sure they will be able to sell you a replacement part and may also be able to give you advice as to fitting it. You will need to buy a new belt anyway.
