How do i replace the cable on my Sebo X4?

I have purchased a new electric cable for my Sebo X4 but i hadnt appreciated that it is not straightforward to replace. The end is integrated inside the handle.
Is there a simple way of replacing this.

Thank you - will try what you suggest.

Yes! Remove the handle from the machine (there's a small lever you twist just where the handle enters the body). Note the handle consists of the lower, straight, metal part, and the upper plastic part. Where these two parts join, there's a small screw - remove it. You can now pull the plastic part a SHORT WAY out from the metal part. NOTE: the plastic part only comes about 15mm out from the metal part, but that's enough. You can now separate the plastic part into two halves lengthwise. This exposes the wiring, and it should be straight forward from there on.

If you need more help, post here again and I'll see what I can do.
