hi. my steering wheel makes a loud click when im going round a corner then another when im straightening wheel back up. it sounds like something is catching on the arm of the indicator tho the indicators are working fine..any1 any ideas? thx in advance :)

Hi its not to big a job but need to have experience on working on cars. had a quick look online the CV joint kit is about £32 or the full driveshaft is about £51. replacing the full driveshaft is easier and quicker.

its a P reg astra...wen i put full lock on it only clicks same as wen im drivin round corner...2 times and then 2 times wen im straightening up

If you go to car park and turning full lock in circles and while driving and it is CLICKING you deffinetly have a worn cv joint. should be worse in one direction this tells you what side needs replaced

Sounds like u have a worn driveshaft(cv joint)thats what's making the clicking. take to an empty car park and try tight turning circles and roll down the window to listen from outside. that should confirm CV joint worn
