Getting my scooter to spark the engine to start the motor?

My scooter is 2008 Sunl Venture scooter with a 157 QMJ engine.?
It seem to have it days of starting up with no problem. When I ride it to my job for some reason after I park it in the garge at work. I have a problem with it starting up. Why that I don't know.

I just change the oil and the gear oil on Monday and it was starting up great without any problem. I change the spark plug and it started up without any problem.

This morning started up without a problem. I go out for lunch to ride around. It wouldn't start up.

A menchanic charge me $135 and told me that the charging system is charging up and the battery is very good.

What can be the problem? I don't trust the scotter any more. Someday it starts. Some days it don't.

Please, can some one help me please.

Hi
Does your scooter have a kick start?other than an electric start. If the engine turns over(with Electric start) at all then its not a starter motor or a solinoid.
Check the engine timing is spot on maybe something has drifted.
if no spark at all its something to do with spark side. older bikes used points and a condensors. newer bikes use CDi units, check that the pick up sensor is perfect condition and has the correct resistance.
Without being able to c the bike its a process of elimination. Sorry i cant shed more light for you.

Yes I used NGK C7HSA spark plug and the engine is a 157 QMJ 150 cc 4 storke. Since I have post this problem, I have brought a new Ignition coil and a CDI and replace them.

After I install them I still didn't get a spark out of the spark plug when I ground it aainst the metal frame of the scooter. I'm going to buy a starter solenold to see if that could be a problem as we. Any other suggestion that you think might be the problem? I do thank you for the info you gave too me.

Thanks,
A

Is your scooter a two stroke(2 Cycle) engine, cause i've never heard of that make.
Stupid question has the scooter got the correct heat rating of spark plug, cause usually you get a normal plug and one cooler and one hotter. Another stupid Question are u using a Nippon Denso(ND) Sparkplug or NGK, I have always found ND plugs crap in motorbikes and lawnmowers, causing the symptoms you describe.
your problem sounds sparkplug or coil problem.
