the electririon came last week and my alarm hasnt stopped since ive had to turn it off alltogether

To reset it back to factory defaults press the reset button on the keypad within 10 sec of reconnecting either the battery assuming it's holding a chagre or the mains, the system will then need to be reprogramed so you will need the installation manual the default codes are 1234 eng and 4321 user if memory serves me correctly :)
