Why does my 97 wrangler ac stop on accel?

I have a 97 Jeep Wrangler. The AC unit stops blowing air, just stops, as I accelerate and when the pedal is floored trying to keep up with traffic. The unit blows cold air and works normally if there is no engine/accel stress. Why?

i know some volvos do it aswell,its because aircon slows down acceleration meaning it can become unsafe,so dont worry
