Cannot Reset Canon 8070 counter?

Our tech has followed the service mode instructions for resetting the counter on the Canon 8070 but it still will not clear. Any ideas?

What counter are you trying to reset?
Most counters on Canon machines cant be reset.

Has your tech installed the web roller backwards. It should be installed right to left when standing in front of the machine.
