front brakes binding?

KA is 9years old and the front brakes keep binding -not alot and not all of the time - have had a new servo fitted but problem continues- garage at a loss. Have also had new pads- everything seems ok but suddenly the binding starts and if you roll to a stop you can feel that the front brakes are on and the wheels are hot .They are on enough to make going up a gentle incline in 5th gear impossible.

is it both front brakes? if so then i would suspect either linkage across to servo from master cyl is siezing or return spring on same broken, also is brake pedal return spring ok,also how does it release-is it by cooling down or do you have to slacken bleed screw if the latter then i would suspect above cause.

check for a sticking caliper piston(s),
pads may too tight in their slides,
lastly the caliper may be of the sliding type, usually is if it only contains 1 piston, this sliding part often sticks/seizes.
basically you press the pedal to brake when you loose the pedal the pressure in the brake line drops the disc at this point should turn freely after a couple of seconds if the piston is slow returning the pads stay in contact with the disc longer causing heat build up
