Whats wrong with it?

My gears on my Ford Fiest ST, 55 plate, get very stiff when the car has been driven for a while and it has heated up. When you first get in the car irs fine. Just had the chain linkage changed but no change. Anyone know what it is?

Have you checked the gearbox for leakage of gear oil ?
Are yopu have trouble getting it into gear in which case it may be clutch.
