Hi JD.

Cannot help you with your specific query, trying to find the same answer myself, without trial and error.

The Megane has a bad design on the window regulator, with a plastic clip that will eventually break and cause the regulator to fail. This may not be your problem though, the window also can run full down by itself as a fault of the locking mechanism. To reset the window in that case, remove the fuse for the window, and double lock the car using the remote or the key. The window will rise in short steps to the full closed position. Various alternatives exist: http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=156075.

The fixes for the window logic appear to all involve interrupting the power supply to the window, and then using the locking system to reset the window. Variation is resetting with the window fuse in or out... I used the out case.

Once closed, and the window fuse back installed, the window reset as in the book, both (front?) switches up simultaneously for 20 seconds, initially didn't fix the problem but did the second attempt.

It appears that the logic system is susceptible to moisture, so the problem may occur intermittently.
