how can i start my transit after changing the battery?

ive just changed the batt on my transit 1.9 d and it wont start how do i sort out the immobalizer.

I have never seen a "1.9" transit. On a 2.5d Transit there is battery cut off "thingy" next to the battery its round with about 3 inch diameter- you can twist it to re-engage power. I hope it helps.
