can anyone help with a torn silk scarf? it is imported and is a special woven silk, the tear or break in the scarf is where the two colors meet. it is two sided.

should I just crisscross sew to mend the 4 inch tear, where it broke away from where the two colors meet on a tiny gold threaded line.

I am absolutely sick about the tear, it just fell a part.
