violin reglue?

I glued the neck back on an older violin(3/4 lewis) and the clamps slipped and the neck is off center and too high--how can I loosen the glue and safely redo the joint? I used "TITEBOND"HIDE GLUE-I don't have a heating iron or any equipment.

If it's hide glue, then brush the joint with warm water, swabbing off the excess. This may take a while.
