First of all make sure the van is on PARK with the EMERGENCY BRAKE and on flat ground, if you do not know anything about AC trouble shooting or repair, then I recommend you get an AC mechanic. Your problem could be low freon. I would check that first, second you could have a bad pressure switch on your low or high side of the freon lines or a bad AC fan check these with a meter, first to see if the switches are good then check the fan.. The third is to check your compressor by putting the gages on and see what the Low side and the high side read. The low side should read 30 to 45 pounds max, the high side should read 320 to 335 lbs. max when the AC is running and cool inside the van with the fan controls on high speed and the motor running at 2000RPM. Both the back and front of the van controls should be on high. Those or some of the things you can check and hopefully you will find one them to be the problem and I hope it is not the compressor.
God bless you
