What is at fault in my Zanussi Oven Model No ZDF290X?

After several months of power surges in my home the clock/alarm on my Zanussi built-in oven went haywire. It couls not be programmed or even set to the right time. The alarm was constantly buzzing. However, last week the cooker tripped and the entire house was left without power until we detected the source. Once reset all was well except that we have no heat in the oven thought the fan still blows strongly. How can this be remedied?

change the fan heating element in the back of the oven cavity around the fan that you can see still rotating.4 screws in the back fan guard cover need removing to gain access to fan element.easy job
