bought a mt 270 strimmer at a boot sale (foolishly!) and the man said it didn`t use a petrol/oil mix as it was a 4 stroke....my friend says this is highly unlikely and since I`ve found loads of stuff needs fixing I think he was probably talking rubbish... does anyone know the fuel mix? Cheers.

its 40-1 i have the same model and it should say on the fuel cap

It's 2 stroke.
Use 25:1 for mineral oil
