Hi There !

Passenger seat on my Renault Scenic 2004 has been stuck for some time and wont slide back or forwards

After looking in detail with a flash light, I can see a loose screw has become wedged in one of the floor runners, stopping the seat from sliding

The runner is next to the centre console and this screw is roughly in the middle of the runner and impossible to get out as access is very limited

Think that the only option is to remove the seat so I can gain access and remove this screw

Problem is that as the seat wont slide, I cant get to the bolts which fix the runners onto the floor of the car

Any ideas out there ??

wire coat hanger or thin metal stick like a kebab skewer..... poke it down the runner gap from front or back

you may want to make a little hook on the end of the coat hanger to drag or push out anything stuck there

How do I remove the front seats to fit other ones?

only suggestion is to sit on seat and push backwards and forwards as hard as you can. you will look silly but eventually seat will go back so runners can be removed.
