Ford Cargo 0813?

Been having snags with my horsebox, (still having snags) turn the ignition key and all I get is a click (starter moter solenoid), then everything electrical goes dead. Have changed the starter motor (old one duff) Alternator (again duff) and the positive lead running from the battery to the starter. Jumped it, changed the battery but everytime the same response. Has anyone got any ideas as to my next area to look at please.

Got a horsebox that dosent charge, changed alternator, now I only get 14.5v at back of alternator when my isolator is in the isolate position,I get this reading between battery + and chassis earth isolator side aswell, but not to batterys because of being isolated. The rest of the time I only get 12.91v to the batterys. Have cured previous battery drain from tacho and lack of charge because battery light was disconnected.any help appreciated. Thanks in advance

My Cargo clicks but if I try again away it goes it never fails to start, has always done this, have had my electrics go dead too and it turned out to be the multiplug connections mentioned located in the centre cab floor.

check front muliplug connections.
battery positive from chassis goes through this.

could be a bad connection on either battery clamps [also where leads fit to clamps],could be bad earth connection to chassis or engine earth lead [check both ends] ,are you sure battery is ok ?you could try connecting 1 jump lead from batt earth and other end to a good earth on engine and see if it starts if it does then engine earth is your problem!
