aqualisa mixer is leaking?

got a Aqualisa 605 thermostatic / 405 manual shower mixer. it is now leaking from behind the in the wall, what could be causing it and how can I fix it

This could well be due to a crack in the hot and cold water mixing unit, unfortunately.....the shower valve will have to come out for inspection.
