Bosch WTA2000 turns but no heat, have done some checks though?

Hi,

Basically my dryer has decided to stop providing heat however everything else seems to be ok. I have checked all of the spade ends that are attached to the elements and none are live (normal??). There are live feeds via the brown, black and black and white wires which are attached to the inner rear panel.(if I remember correctly) I have also removed the little red switch from the back and took it apart to see how it works. I can't see anything obviously wrong with it but I'm no electrician. Can anybody please throw some light on this for me.

Many thanks

Mark
I have looked at previous posts for this model but don't think I found the answer yet.

I have the same problem.
I have now replaced the element and the three thermostats (safety cutout, thermostat on the element and one on the output from the fan)!!
I am still not getting any heat!! Any ideas?

i believe you will find that the heater elements are blown and so need replacing
to check this use a continuity tester,or bell set with the spade connectors disconnected the continuity should be o.oo or the bell set should ring if not then the element has gone(new element costs around £12.00)
