Fisher&Paykel ECS?

Our rather old Fisher&Paykel ECS washing has decided not to complete the cycle & just now hums at us instead of emptying the water & going on to the spin cycle, please can you help ?

The pump is blocked, that is the humming sound you can hear. Remove as much water as you can by bailing it out with a jug. Once the weight of the water is removed find some way to move the machine outside. Then remove the lower back panel. Inside on left hand side you will see the drain pump. On the end of the pump facing you will be a cover which can be removed by turning it anti clockwise. More water will come out when you remove that cover so do it slowly. Check inside the pump for any rubbish then put covers back on.
