The door release button is not working so how can I open the door on my tum?

The door release button when pressed is not opening the door on the tumble dryer. Model is Zanussi TC 481W. How can I get the door to open.

take the lid off and you will see the release wires on the rear of the door release button.pull it with a pair of pliers and it will open
