How to put rear bearing on Simpson minimax 8 ?

We bought the kevlar bearing but not sure which way to put it on - white side up or down

If its similar to my Simpson they glue in. You want the material side to the spinning drum. What is the white part comprised of, is it solid or a talcum powder type lubricant? If the latter than this side to the drum.
