How can i get a stuck cd, 05 citreon xsara picasso?

i have just brought a new cd, put it in the cd player, however when i went to eject it, it won't come out. Is there any way to get it out without having to use a garage?

This is not a great fix. The only way we could get the CD out of the car was shut off the engine, then the eject on the CD player worked perfectly.
