what does a cutout relay do? A) disconnect the generator from the battery if the generator is turning too slowly. B) stop the engine if the generator is spinning too fast. C) open and close its contacts depending upon whether a positive or negitive cycle of voltage is being produced. D) disconnect the generator from the charging system when the engine is at high rpm. Help me!!!!!!!
No idea on which machine this is fitted to Debbie, but the voltage regulator stops the generator from overcharging the battery once it is fully charged.
