Replacing a primer bulp on snow blower with Tecumseh Engine?

Need to replace primer bulp on Techumseh engine. Mine is ripped. Is this a big job on Arians 8 hp snow blower unit? Looks like I need to take a lot of parts off just to get to bulb & service foplks want $250 to do. Is this a big job And can a limited mechnical skilled guy do it? Any step by step help out there?

Replacing the bulb is easy - once you get to it. Check the new kit - it will probably consist of the bulb itself, and a retainer ring. The old bulb is removed by simply ripping it out. The retaining ring is destroyed on removal, which is why you get a new one in the kit. Insert the new bulb, position the ring and drive it in with a socket (nozzle?) that just fits over the bulb. Takes a couple of minutes AFTER you take off all the parts to get to it!
