What does F8 mean ?

Our Fisher and Paykel Nautilus has stopp working and displays F8, Wha is the problem and how can i resolve it

I"ve got F&P Nautilus DW691ED SS. I had the same error (F8) and the problem was that drainage hose was under drain pump level. After I raised drainage hose error went away and dishwasher works fine.

Press the "delay" and "start" button together at the same time and hold for a seconds. Thats how we got our Fisher & Paykel Nautilus started again. So yes we had the same F8 code appear on our Nautilus.

I too have a F&P Nautilus Dishwasher that has today starting flashing F8 part way through a wash. Love to hear what you had to do to remedy the problem. Cheers Mel

Yes I am aware that it is a dishwasher and the answer is still the same. There is no fault code F8 on a Nautilus dishwasher. Check the model number on the label just inside the door opening. If it is a 920 then that is the model I am talking about. You can double check by phoning F&P service centre and ask them what F8 means but I am sure you will either get the same answer or they will try and talk you in to a visit from their Tech. who will charge you an arm & a leg to tell you to replace the controller.

its definatly F8 and its a dishwasher

The Fisher & Paykel Nautilus model does not have a fault code F8. There is an F3 fault. Check the display again & see if it is an 8 or 3. If it is definitely an F8 then I would say the controller has a problem & needs to be replaced.
