how to fit brake pads to a T reg vw polo?

what is the best way to change brake pads on a T reg vw polo?

take the car and shoes to a garage, it will cost around £30 to fit them, you trust your life to your brakes, every time you use that car, rear brakes are always awkward and fiddilly, get it wrong one side and it will throw your car all over under heavy braking, in the wet this can be a disaster, brake fluid contamination will ruin new pads, and your brakes wont work,£30 at the garage, its done right, then its tested on the rolling road, and they are insured if your brakes fail one day out on the road,i have been a meachanic 30 yrs, but i do not touch brakes.
