talbot motorhome keeps on misfiring ?

ani one no what would cause this . when u release accelerator the engine misfires or backfires alot . ani idears

if its a petrol engine it could be because its to weak a mix in the carb.

I imagine this is caused by an air leak into the exhaust system, close to the manifold.
