how can i get my hotpoint freezer to work properly?

ITS A HOTPOINT FFA74, RED ALERT LIGHT FOR FREEZER STAYS ON CONTINOUSLY, FREEZER IS NOT COLD , BUT ABOVE FRIDGE COMPARTMENT WORKS , ENGINEER CAME AND CHANGED THE CIRCUIT AT THE TOP OF THE FRIDGE BUT STILL NO RESULT.
