clutch on 406 ?

when i put my foot on the clutch pedal to change gear its vibrates , and is getting worse.
tonight i put it in reverse to get into my drive and it only just got in my drive and when you push the clutch pedal down the vibration has gotten worse .
could you please let me know if its going to be an expensive repair ??

i,ve got a 406 hdi 90 on a, y, sometime when the car been stood, the clutch pedal is on the floor, i pull it up and things are ok, but now i,m finding my clutch do,ent feel like its released properley, but no clutch slip at all.. can some one help

sounds right. better save up! this can happen if clutch pedal is pressed for long periods whilst stationary.

thanks yes its is an hdi (90)
just spoken to the peugeot garage this morning apparently they say that the thrust bearing has gone through the clutch
to replace it with labour its going to be around £230

a little vibration through pedal is normal. is it a hdi? sounds like flywheel is going on it. does car make a chirpy noise when car switched off as well? the flywheel is not a conventional one on these and they go wrong often. can cost around £300 just for clutch and flywheel. a big job to replace it as well.
