Runs but no heat?

Simpson Dryer maybe 10 years old is a model that tumbles both ways.No heat.

Most likely the element is faulty. It is the ring of coiled wire, within the machine, surrounding the drum which heats up, (A bit like an electric bar fire), supplying heat for the machine.
Replacements can be fitted by engineers but balance that outlay against the cost of a new machine. Get a diagnosis and quote over the counter in any repair outlet for comparison.
