I have a Brother VX 1100 which I have been enjoying for years. For some reason, it will not move at all, no motor sound or anything. Everything is plugged in correctly and the light is working, but no motor. Dead as a doornail!

When I first set it up this morning, it would not go, so I pushed in the reverse button (I was trying everything) and it started. I sewed about 45 minutes and went shopping. I just came back and the same thing - no juice. Pushing the reverse button did nothing this time. When it was working, everything was normal. Any suggestions?

Hello Marianne,
Check the plug that goes into the machine and check the socket on the machine to make sure the pins are sticking out, it may be a faulty foot control but you need to get it checked at a repair shop.
