How can I fix my LG Arena KM900?

My LG Arena KM 900 keeps freezing, locking, shutting dowm, and isnt reacting when i press the touch screen.

What should I do?

Is there anyway this is a minor error that can be fixed with software upgrade or do I need a replacement?
