im changing my front brake disk on a ford transit 1999
and dont know how to split it the disk on it has started to shatter how do i do it im a diy er who dont give up
u need to press the hub out of the carrier using a press horible job easily an hour a side becarefull romoving bottom ball joint

Use an angle grinder to cut a slot in the disc as deep as you can, then score the disc surface towards the hub centre...put a cold chisel in the slot and hit it with a hammer. The disc should split nicely!
