The kitchen tap has a small crack on the spout due to turning it back and forth over the sink. Is it a straightforward job to replace this? I've noticed that there's no access via the kitchen cupboards due to the back panels and hardly any access through the drawer space because of the sink. Also are the connections easy enough to get off and on?

Only a guess going by my caravan one
four screws in the surrond of the tap unit held it to the work top released and their was enough slack in the pipes and microswitch wires to lift it and release it from pipes and wires. Jubilee clips on pipes and connectors on micrioswitch wires.

Tip Before releasing tie strin around the wires and pipes so if they drop you have a draw string to pull them back up.
