Where is the pollen filter and how do I get to it, I think its blocked and want to get it out and either replace it or clean it

I think it is inside the car under the glove compartment. Undo 3 screws and pull down the carpet, there should be a black rectangular cover which you slide across. This cover should come off and you can then pull down on the filter to take it out. If yours is a xsara picasso i thik it is under the bonnet some where opposite the stearing wheel.
