I have acquired a Whirlpool AWM321 without instructions and find the dials confusing. Also it seems to get stuck between numbers/letters.

Obviously the first dial has temperature which seems straightforward, but then the programme dial is a mixture of numbers and letters. And what is 'rinse hold'?

Can anyone please assist or is it me just being thick?!?!?
