Gilera Runner, Completely Dead?

My son`s Gilera runner has been sitting outside for several months. When left it would start OK with all electrics fine. Now the electrics are completly dead. Charged battery, checked fuses( I can find ). We have no wiring diagram, so am unclear where to start.
Please Help

To Steo. Thank you for your advice. I was going to jump start bike from good battery, but couldn`t find jump leads. I will follow advice and see what happens. Tried to reply to you, but no link. Thanks again.

hi bill, i'd imagine the battery is completely knackered & even though you charged it up it's probably not holding the charge. batteries need recharging especially small moped type batteries even if they're not being used & after several months of non use the battery will have sulphated & died. stick a new battery into the ped & it should be ok. before you try & start it put in a new spark plug, i would also advise that you drain the old fuel from the tank & the carb & put fresh juice in. petrol goes off so you might find it hard to start the bike.
