when i turn my shower off the water keeps flowing i have too turn the water off by the valves on the pipes will this be the flow control valve that i need to replace

Have the same problem, I dont think its the house valve you need to replace, its in the shower that needs to be replaced. Ive tried pressing the "stop" button time over, cranking the water temp up and down but to no avail - Im tempted to just get a new shower, but Id be be interested to what answers you get
