i have just installed a accenta g4 alarm and i have connected the speaker to the right port as well but the speaker does not mimic the entry/exit tones from the lcd keypad .the sound from the little speaker in the lcd keypad is vey low so you can not hear the exit tones when you set the system please help

Sorry Josh do you actually believe that an Accenta is better than a Scantronic 9651, Martin there is a volume pot in the keypad for the speaker, but honestly fella, its a pile of junk, wait till you have a lightning strike or a power cut.

Ignore "J"
Is it an alarm sounder or an extension speaker. An alarm sounder won't produce entry and exit tones, just and alarm sound. An extension speaker will produce both. It is also worth checking the fuse for the extension speaker.

Throw it away and buy a Scantronic 9651, one day people on here will learn that the Accenta range is a pile of junk.
