i had a spring break and bought a new on it was a extension spring(part no.mtd732-0638) how do reinstall the new spring.thank you very much

The safety swithces (kill switches) have gotten old and no longer function the way they should; is there a wiring diagram that shows how to by-pass the switches (much cheaper than new switches)? And no, there are no kids/unexpierenced riders that drive this mower. In fact, I am the only one who mows.
