my 2 cycle weed eater keeps flooding out?

My weed eater is hard to start and when it does start gas spits out the air intact. I've checked the spark plug and it had gas on it. I've cleaned and replaced it and still no luck. I even tried adjusting the idle screw to the point where I took it completely out. When the Idle screw is out the weed eater will crank up and run, but when I squeeze the trigger it boggs down.

oil/gas mixture is too rich and or the spark plug is bad or the gap on the plug needs to be adjusted

Rebuild the carburator and your problem will be fixed.
