hard to start echo hedge clipper?

Is there a simple fix when my Echo hedge clipper won't start? It will start after many tries. Have changed the gas. Using regular with the additive. Have a Sthil weed eater that starts fine with same gas mixture.

I have experienced the same problem recently. Short of replacing the spark plug I have given it a half choke in warm weather and it usually fires on the second pull. Let it run a little then take the choke off.

The worst investment I ever made was buying this equipment it is not reliable and impossible to keep in good running condition.

Some machines do seem to have a mind of their own....however, check that the primer bulb is full of fuel when you press it, and also a new plug can only help matters. It isn't the fuel at fault, its the design of the carburettor that has the main influence on starting.
