i rebooted my acer aspire 5720 lap top and now it is asking for current password but it is none that i ave tried what can i do

if you never put one in then just login without putting a password in the box,

if you still can't get in buy a windows password removal disc/download from ebay under £5, good luck

I have no intension of saying how to crack passwords on an open forum and I hope that no one else will either. It is recipe for even more stolen laptops.

Take to a local computer shop with proof of ownership and ID and they may be able to help yopu.

If it is a password in the security chip on the motherboard, then you have had it as they are designed to turn stolen laptops into scrap.
