Why is my Rowenta iron not heating?

When I plug it in, the auto off indicator light comes on but not the heat indicator light which means it will not heat. Any advise?
Rowenta Procision is the model.

I have a Rowenta Professional about 15 years old I did have it repaired once, the heating unit and now it has stopped getting hot AGAIN.
I really want the best iron made and I do love the weight and burst of steam.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the "Ironing Queen"

I have had five Rowenta irons, the last the Advancer. Not the quality of my older model, the Rowenta Professional which died after 15 yrs. The other models either leaked really bad or the cord was not connecting and it kept shutting off. So disappointing, Rowenta customer service is terrible to boot. Any suggestions for another brand would be appreciated.

My Rowenta just went out too when I was ironing the other day. It is doing exactly the same thing as yours. My husband got into it and determined that we need a new P.C board with cord (part UL4267) and I haven't been able to find the part available anywhere on the internet. My iron was lightly used and well taken care of. I don't think I'll be buying another Rowenta. It's a bummer to have to trash such a new looking appliance.

I had the same problem with my last 2 rowenta irons: Rowenta Advancer Iron Model DZ 9080 4747.

I will never buy again from Rowenta.
