How to disassemble Kenmore dryer?

I replaced the front switch by taking off the top, but not sure how to take the back off, took out all the screws but the back seems to be spot welded on? Is the heating element under the dryer?

Hello,

I am not sure what model you have but the Kenmore dryers made by Whirlpool have an access panel in the back to get at the element. Remove panel and then you will see a canistor to the right which has the heating element inside. Again, this is assuming we are talking about a Whirlpool made dryer. Hope this helps.
